The Laboratory

Owing to the close cooperation with our international contacts in France, South Africa and the Netherlands we have the ability to avail ourselves of the most up-to-date and sophisticated technologies. The basic material is first tested in the laboratory to detect if there are any plant diseases, before we proceed to propagation. This way we guarantee disease-free plant material of a homogeneous quality.

The laboratory conforms to the highest norms and employs a group of well-trained personnel. The dissection room has 40 dissecting tables where the daily work is carried out in two 8-hour shifts. The processed plant material is stored in three nursery beds, where the light and temperature can be regulated digitally, independently from each other. Between 7 and 10 million meristem plants can be stored in the three nursery beds.
